Event experience

Though many railyard buildings at Thompson’s Point were demolished in the 20th century, other historic structures remain at the site. That’s a good thing, too, as it leaves the decor more enchanting than what you would probably expect in a more modern venue.

For example, the Brick South building features warm brick walls, steel beams, and gleaming concrete floors, reflecting the space’s industrial heritage. Meanwhile, the Brick North building of classic 19th-century design has been fitted out with modern audio and lighting amenities.

Both buildings are reserved for relatively small-scale events along the lines of trade shows and photoshoots. Some local music acts, too, might opt to put on shows in Brick North.

Bigger music acts at Thompson’s Point perform to the open-air crowds who gather under and around the Depot Pavilion. Here, you can also tuck into tasty dishes from some of the best food trucks in the south of the state.
