15th Anniversary Tour

Seattle's celebrated indie-folk collective The Head and The Heart celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album, self-titled The Head and The Heart. The show is scheduled to take place at Thompson's Point in Portland, Maine on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026.

The Head and The Heart

The Seattle-based indie folk collective will be performing as they did when their sweet, harmonious vocals and emotionally charged songwriting first captured the hearts and ears of fans in 2009. The band has been touring non-stop ever since and will bring a charmed performance of songs like 'Honeybee' to Thompson's Point this summer. The band recently released 'Aperture' in May 2025 which showcases the band's growth and continued evolution within their core sound.

This 15th-anniversary tour is to celebrate the release of the band's RIAA Platinum-certified self-titled debut album. The Head and The Heart's songbook is vast and contains a variety of tracks including 'Virginia (In) A Dream, 'Virginia (Wind in the Night)', 'All What I Am', 'Every Shade of Blue' and more. Jonathan Russell and the original members of the band play every song as if they had written it themselves. That is to say, every song is played with great feeling and with complete devotion to the music that they have produced as a band. The Head and The Heart have earned multiple Billboard chart positions including several top 10 positions on the Billboard 200.

Houndmouth

Consisting of Matt Myers, and Schaefer Lefler (both of who are known for their multiple vocal performances throughout the band's songs), and Toby Nance on percussion, the four-piece alternative blues and American quartet describe their own rootsy take on "a blend of folk, blues, and rock 'n roll" that they continue to tour and expand upon. This year the band released their latest self-titled record 'Lordy' that is by far the band's most stripped back and minimalist to date to date with the band often being just two or three people playing at a time.

Some of their fan favorites to date include "Penitentiary" and the title track of their last record 'Good For You'. In 2015 the band reached incredible heights with their hit "Little Neon Limelight" an incredible Americana track that was even recorded in the frontman Matt Myers' family's old house in Indiana. The band has been on heavy touring for years as well as a constant appearance at music festivals across the country earning the band a large, loyal following of fans.
