Save the Date: Sierra Ferrell Returns to Portland on September 5th. Sierra Ferrell returns to Portland's Thompson's Point on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 to continue touring in support of her most recent release with a unique blend of classic country, bluegrass and folk rooted in American folk tradition played by one of the country's most exciting young singer/songwriters and performed in one of Maine's truly special venues. Ferrell is expected to draw a large and energetic crowd of fans from across the country who come to sing along to Ferrell's many original songs performed live on stage. Fans can arrive early to take in the entire experience and celebrate authentic American roots music of all kinds.

Sierra Ferrell

There is nothing quite like a favorite artist performing their favorite songs live on stage! Ferrell brings the songs that have made her a favorite with her own unique voice and the many tools she plays. A CD is always great, but nothing is better than a live show! After she stopped touring with Chris Stapleton, Ferrell went back on the road as a solo artist and wandered around the country honing her skills as a singer-songwriter. She is a self-taught player of fiddle, guitar and banjo. Her debut album "Trail of Flowers" was released in 2021 and made a big impact in many different genres of music. Fans can expect to hear songs from that album and from her newer material. Born on a farm, raised on a farm Sierra Ferrell picked up a fiddle at the age of 3. As a child she would travel the country with her parents who were free spirits, and she learned to play guitar, banjo and harmonica along the way. Now 28 years old, Sierra Ferrell was just named emerging act of the year at the 2021 Americana Music Honors & Awards and is being recognized by major media outlets such as Rolling Stone and NPR for her work in the folk scene.
